In August 2010, the Institute of Tax Law of the University of Münster will again offer courses on International Taxation. The faculty consists of leading experts from international law firms, universities and government agencies.

The Summer Courses provide students and young professionals with an opportunity to receive a compact overview of important aspects of international tax law and to benefit from the knowledge of lecturers with extensive international tax experience.

The aim of the first session (1 to 4 August) is to provide participants with a basic knowledge of international tax law: leading experts in the field will outline the most important aspects of international taxation from European and U.S. points of view.

The first session is followed by a second session (5 to 8 August) and gives participants an opportunity to go into details of general topics of international taxation: legal structures for taxing residents and nonresidents on income from cross-border activities and investments, double taxation and transfer pricing.

All lectures will be held in English. Both courses stand on their own and may be attended separately. They will take place in the „Kettelerscher Hof“, a modern conference building in the heart of Münster.

We thank the lecturers for their contribution to the course. We also thank our sponsors and participating firms for their financial support enabling several students to take part in the courses. We look forward to welcoming you among a group of participants from all over the world!
